QL Nano Lithium K

Chemical/mechanical hardener, dustproof, lithium and potassium silicate

Nano-technological chemical/mechanical hardener, non-film-forming, based on Lithium and Potassium Silicates, for cortical consolidation, surface chemical hardening and dustproofing of industrial concrete floors. QL Nano Lithium K is usually used on polished concrete floor surfaces between the polishing phases, but can also be used on machine-troweled concrete as a final treatment.

    QL Nano Lithium K

    Properties of QL Nano Lithium K:

    • Penetrates deeply
    • Reacts with free alkalis in concrete to form calcium silicate hydrate (CSH), to form a crystalline structure similar to glass
    • Increased resistance to abrasion
    • Anti-dust treatment
    • Drastic reduction of porosity

    Fields of application

    Hardening, sealing, consolidating, dust-proofing treatment for industrial floors and concrete screeds, both old and new.

    The application surfaces must be clean, free from dirt, loose or inconsistent parts, dust, etc. In order to best open the surface porosity of the flooring, proceed with diamond grinding of the appropriate type based on the characteristics of the support. Then proceed with careful vacuuming of the dust.


    Mode of use

    Apply QL Nano Lithium K by sprayer, roller or brush on existing concrete surfaces. Always check that the concrete surfaces are suitable and capable of providing the desired results. Allow the surface to dry completely before inspecting and approving the desired application. The application time on the hardened substrate must be at least 24 hours in the summer period. Recommended 4 to 7 days during the rest of the year.
    EXISTING CONCRETE SURFACES - Thoroughly clean the substrate, removing all foreign materials such as non-stick products, hardeners, release oils, dust, construction efflorescence, plaster wall residues etc. Before proceeding, ensure the surface is dry. - Use a low pressure sprayer to apply QL Nano Lithium Hard in such a way as to saturate the surface. - Allow QL Nano Lithium K to act for 20-30 minutes. - Allow the surface to dry.
