Protech Fix AC - Therm
Ideal for interventions on walls with mucilage deposits, bacterial phenomena and moulds. Due to its low thermal conductivity, it is particularly suitable for solving mould problems. It can be applied on any plaster (rustic, civil, plaster, dry mortar, plasterboard, concrete, prefabricated, exposed concrete, etc.).
Made with special resins and additives it reduces the absorption of the support while allowing the necessary transpiration, uniforms the absorption making the application of the finishing coats easier. It always works in depth, which is why it is the ideal preparation for applying water-based paints or coatings. Adhesion is excellent even on particularly difficult surfaces, thanks to the use of special resins and the presence in the formulation of an adhesion promoter interacting between the support and the product.

Preliminary treatment of any surface (civil, plaster, rustic, dry mortars, plasterboard, concrete, prefabricated, exposed concrete etc.) designed to isolate the support surfaces and standardise the absorptions of the subsequent anti-condensate treatments (painting and protective coatings).

Preparation of supports
For new surfaces remove any dust, while for old surfaces remove any non-adherent paint, scrape, brush until you find the sound part of the substrate. Any fungi and moulds must be carefully brushed and disinfected with Consilex Muffa Cleaner and Consilex Muffa Remover. After a few hours, when the microorganisms have neutralized, carefully clean, then proceed with the application of a coat of Protech Fix AC - Therm.
Mode of use
It can be applied by brush or roller by diluting the product from 20% to 50% with water. During the application, cover the areas not to be painted well, spread evenly avoiding dripping and wait 4-6 hours for subsequent applications. Ideal as an anti-condensation base for false ceilings and insulated plasterboard false walls.

Consumption
From 0.10 to 0.15 litres of Protech Fix AC-THERM for each square metre of surface to be treated, based on the porosity of the support.

Warnings
To avoid film-formation defects, being resin-based products in aqueous emulsion, the application temperature must be between + 5°C and + 35°C with relative humidity not exceeding 60/70%.
