Consumption

Use from 3 to 5 kg/m² of UNIKOLL depending on the type of support and the type of material to be bonded.

Use fields

Bonding of tiles, ceramics, stoneware, natural and/or reconstructed stones, etc. on horizontal and vertical surfaces, internal and external. Regularisation finishings. Modular element bonding and smoothing for insulating cladding: polystyrene sheets, wood panels- magnesium panels, wood-cement, etc. Do not use for:
- Substrates in gypsum or anhydrite
- Substrates subject to movements
- Substrates with protective films or coatings

Preparation of supports

The surfaces of application have to be properly cured, conveniently roughened, clean, free of any soiling whatever its nature, crumbling and non-adhering parts, dust etc. Any traces of oils, greases, release agents, waxes, paints, etc., as well as any anti-adhesive substance, should be preliminarily removed.

Use method

For each 25 kg bag of UNIKOLL, add 6-6.3 litres of clean water and mix thoroughly, with a mechanical stirrer, until a homogeneous lump-free mixture is obtained. After waiting a few minutes, stir and spread the adhesive with a toothed adhesive spreader.

The products (tiles or other coatings) should be applied with a slight pressurised movement for the entire surface to be in perfect contact with the adhesive. Any adjustment must be made within 10-12 minutes of laying. For applications outdoors, apply a continuous layer of adhesive also on the back of the item.
