SYNTECH PRIMER EP is a solvent-free two-component epoxy resin to be used as a bonding primer for applying all epoxy cycles on concrete surfaces and concrete conglomerates in general. SYNTECH PRIMER EP is formulated to achieve an elevated impregnation, consolidation and adhesion effect of the substrate. It can also be used on wet surfaces. SYNTECH PRIMER EP even penetrates deep into compact surfaces, effectively consolidating the support. It also has a great resistance to water and aggressive solutions whilst allowing water vapour to pass through.

Use 150 to 200 grams per square metre per coat, depending on the porosity and unevenness of the support.
Promotes adhesion for epoxy coatings as well as for porous and deteriorated substrates, along with acting as a cement and concrete consolidation agent.
Thoroughly clean and degrease the surfaces, removing stains, paint residues and loose parts of any kind. Determine the most convenient type of mechanical preparation (sandblasting, hydrowashing, etc.). Surfaces are also to be free of patchiness and, where appropriate, levelled and smoothed with REPAR TIX BIC or REPAR SM BIC.
Mix the two components, each in its own container, before combining. Pour component B into component A and mix for 3 to 5 minutes with a low-speed mixing drill to achieve the complete homogenisation of the mixture. The protective coating can be applied once the SYNTECH PRIMER EP is completely dry.
