Characteristics

SANASTARK is a solution based on mineral silicates, demineralised water and natural dispersant. It does not contains traces of resins, solvents or thinners. The application of SANASTARK does not affect the original wall breathability.

Consumption

From 0.20 to 0.30 kg of SANASTARK for each square metre of surface to be treated, based on the porosity of the support.

Use fields

Cortical reinforcement and elimination of pulverisation of mortars, plasters and masonry jointing. Also suitable as a natural fixative before applying lime putty- or potassium silicate-based plasters and paints.

Preparation of supports

Remove the soilings and saline manifestations by vigorous brushing. Then eliminate the residual dust. Saturated with water until you reach the condition of "saturated with dry surface".

Use method

Apply by spraying, proceeding from the bottom up: it can also be applied with a brush with natural long bristles. In the presence of pronounced degradations proceed with several applications, wet on wet.

Application methods

- Low pressure airless nebulizer

- Brush

- Sprayer

Tool cleaning

- Water

Permitted supports

- Plasters

- Cement-based or lime-based mortars

- Bricks

- Mixed walls (bricks and stones)

- Stone walls

Warnings, precautions and Ecology

It can cause the opacification of aluminium surfaces, glass, ceramised tiles etc. which must therefore be protected during application.

Do not apply on mineral surfaces (plaster, bricks etc.), destined to remain exposed, without carrying out a preliminary test, as there is a risk of latent salt crystallisation.

SANASTARK is a moderately caustic solution at the implementation stage: do not ingest, wear protective gloves, goggles and clothing, take the necessary precautions.
