Fiber-reinforced premix, based on hydraulic lime, light aggregates with high communicating porosity and cork flours, for the realization, with the sole addition of water, of screeds and lightweight substrates, with high thermal and acoustic insulation, in green building interventions and in restoration of period and monumental buildings. SANALIT screeds, packaged according to the specifications shown in this technical data sheet, are classified C5-F1-A22 in accordance with European standard EN 13813.

Approximately 6 kg/m² of SANALIT for every centimetre of thickness to be implemented (approximately 600 kg per cubic metre).
For laying subbase screeds in high performance thermo-acoustic ecological buildings.
Application surfaces should be clean, free of soiling, crumbling and non-adhering parts, dust, etc., conveniently saturated with water until they reach the condition "saturated with dry surface".
Pour about 2/3 of the mixing water into the mixer. Gradually add SANALIT and the water still needed, by mixing until a homogeneous lump-free mixture of the desired consistency is obtained. Support the product at the reference height and float until a smooth and planar surface is obtained, preparing the joints beforehand where necessary. The mixing water indicatively necessary is equal to 65-75% by weight (8.5 -9.5 litres per 13 kg bag).

It is always essential to carry out preliminary tests to check the appropriateness of the product, depending on specific requirements.
Protect fresh surfaces from direct exposure to sunlight, from the rain and the wind, and cure the prolonged moist hardening.
Please note that SANALIT is only intended as a subbase for subsequent cement or lime-based slabs. It should not be used as a top trampling layer.
