Characteristics

Rheoplastic, thixotropic, structural, composite skim coat with a special cement and select silicate aggregates base, fibre-reinforced with a balanced mix of polypropylene fibres READYMESH and calcium meta-silicate micro-fibres, with the addition of specific agents with a high rate of micro-silicates. It provides, after hardening, high performance in terms of intrinsic permeability, resistant to run-off and hydrolysing activity, mechanical resistance, to abrasion and cavitation, anti-carbonising properties, chemical-physical stability, resistant to atmospheric aggression and run-off waters. It has three-dimensional fibre-reinforcement, provides high hold; it is dimensionally stable (compensated shrinkage).

Consumption

Approximately 1.8 kg/m² of RASOWHITE for each millimetre of thickness to be made.

Use fields

Repairs and protective coatings of civil building works in concrete (pillars, walls, balcony cornices, etc.).

Preparation of supports

The application surfaces should be clean, free of containment, inconsistent and incoherent parts, dust, etc., conveniently saturated with water to reach the "saturated to dry surface" condition.

Use method

Place approx. 2/3 of water in the mixer, adding RASOWHITE and the remaining water; continue mixing until you obtain an even mix free of lumps. The mixing water should be approx. 20 - 22% of the weight of the bag. Having completed mixing, wait a few minutes before applying.

Addition of BOND HG to the mixing water, (approx. 0.5 litres per 25kg bag of product) allows further improvement in terms of adhesion, hold, impermeability, workability, modelling and deformation capacity.
