Appearance: Thick liquid

Pigmented paint/coating, micro-reinforced with nylon microfibres, based on water-thinnable silicone resins, acrylic dispersions, fluorinated thermoplastic polymers (Teflon), specific loads and fillers, in a special mix that is capable of providing high performance in terms of water repellence ("lotus" effect), elasticity and resistance to aggressive atmospheric agents, conjugated with appropriate characteristics of vapour permeability. Perfect for all those surfaces particularly exposed to atmospheric aggression (civil and industrial buildings in a mountain and marine environment).

Characteristics

PROTECH SIL P WAX PEARL is very smooth and easy to spread, for easy application, and it is equipped with adequate elasticity to contain any micro-cracks. It is very water repellent, with a very good "pearling" effect, impervious to rain and in any case permeable to vapour. It is anti- static, self-cleaning, antismog paint that is resistant to saponification.

Consumption

Apply from 0.30 to 0.40 liters of PROTECH SIL P WAX PEARL per square metre of surface to be painted.

Use fields

Protective, decorative, waterproofing, micro-crack resistant coating, for exposed masonry surfaces in aggressive atmospheres: urban, marine, etc. Specific for protective long lasting painting of façades of buildings near the sea.

Preparation of supports

The application support must be preliminarily cleaned, until the safe disposal of soiling; it must also be sufficiently cohesive and suitably dry, and free of dust, efflorescence, crumbling and non-adhering parts, etc. Preliminarily treat the surfaces with the specific acrylic fixative PROTECH FIX AC.

Use method

Apply PROTECH SIL P WAX PEARL, using a brush, roller or spray, as is or with maximum dilution with water of 15%-20% by weight of the product. PROTECH SIL P WAX PEARL does not form beads or drip and dries quickly allowing the application of multiple coats in the course of the same day.
