Characteristics
Unlike ELASTOTEX 120, where the elastic part is represented exclusively by the central part of the product (8 cm wide), the entire width of ELASTOTEX 120 CLOTH consists of an elastomeric material (12 cm), allowing a greater maximum expansion and adaptation to structural movements. In addition, the entire width of the band is lined with absorbent fabric, so it can be impregnated on a more extended portion of its surface, ensuring superior adhesion to the support.
Consumption
1.1 m/m: 1 metre of ELASTOTEX 120 CLOTH for each linear metre, being careful to overlap the rolls of approximately 5-10 cm in correspondence with the edges of the band to guarantee the permanent water tightness of the system.
Use fields
Connection of waterproofing surfaces adjacent to joints in structures or artefacts subject to thermal or dynamic movements, particularly suitable in waterproofing coating interventions that interweave the use of OSMOCEM FLEX or OSMOCEM D.
Preparation of supports
The application surfaces should be clean, free of incrustations, dust and non-adhering parts, carefully roughened.
Use method
Previously apply OSMOCEM FLEX or OSMOCEM D on the laying surfaces (with a layer of average thickness not less than 2 mm), for a width greater than that of the ELASTOTEX 120 CLOTH butt. Lay the strap and press it appropriately in the prepared osmotic mortar, ensuring the incorporation of the latter (for the whole width of the strap) in the fabric that covers it. Complete the coating with OSMOCEM FLEX or OSMOCEM D.

ELASTOTEX 250 COMBI
Highest technological expression of the straps and water-proofing by Azichem. For critical situations, where other than the elastic strap, resistance to wear and abrasion are also required. Advice for infrastructural works.

ELASTOTEX
ELASTOTEX 170, 220 and 325 are differentiated from one another in the central part of the elastic material. Based on the size of the joint to waterproof, the appropriate model will be chosen.
