CONSILEX EM DROP is a VOC-free aqueous silane emulsion used to make absorbent building materials water-repellent and confer a high pearl effect. A water-repellent, colourless, non-filming impregnator to protect plasters, cement systems, and so on, without altering the treated surfaces.

Consumption

Dilute the CONSILEX EM DROP in a ratio 1:10 at most 1:20. In case of long storage, prepared solutions must be additivated with an preservative agent in order to protect them from bacterial proliferation. Apply the ready-to-use solution by spray (airless nebulizer), brush or paint roller. Dosage depends on how absorbent the material is, one single coat or two coats wet-on-wet are generally enough.

Impregnation, waterproofing, protective treatment of floors and coatings, brick, cement or lime-based conglomerates generally, etcetera.

Preparation of supports

Recommended for treating vertical or very inclined surfaces cleaned of soluble salts and dirt, also taking care to remove parts with poor surface adhesion by brushing and hydro-sandblasting. Effectiveness in micro-cracks up to 0.3 mm. Apply to dry surfaces. In the event of rain or surface washing, wait 3 days at a temperature of at least 20° C prior to treatment.

Use method

Apply the product evenly, by spraying at low pressure or brushing on one or more coats, preferably without interruption or time intervals between one coat and the next, taking care to achieve the best saturation of the wall covering.
