Code: RNF.0248
Components: 1
Appearance: Connector
Preformed connector in GFRP, with an 8-mm diameter and L-shape, where the short side measures 10 cm and the long side is available in three different sizes of 20, 50 and 70 cm. The surface bears improved adhesion thanks to the presence of quartz inert filler with a diameter of 0.8 mm embedded in the matrix. ARMAGLASS CONNECTOR is used to mechanically connect ARMAGLASS mesh to various substrates (brick or stone walls, concrete, wood). It is perfectly compatible with any matrix utilised for grouting and with mortars based on air-setting or hydraulic binders.

ARMAGLASS CONNECTOR is used to mechanically connect our ARMAGLASS networks on various supports (brick or stone walls, concrete, wood). It is perfectly compatible with any matrix used for grouting and with mortars based on aerial or hydraulic binders. It is an extremely durable connector even when applied to supports with high saline loads or in the presence of severe exposure environments. It is extremely handy, light, easy to apply, which allows rapid intervention and low installation costs
Product to be purchased as needed.
Mechanical collaboration and connection of ARMAGLASS networks with supports. High thickness plastering interventions. Reinforcement interventions on concrete and masonry structures through connections on one side only. The improved adhesion obtained with the surface presence of quartz aggregates allows optimal adhesion with resinous anchoring matrices and with all traditional materials (bricks, mortars, stone concretes). Particularly suitable for ancient walls of historical and cultural interest. The durability against atmospheric and environmental conditioning makes the use of ARMAGLASS CONNECTOR particularly advantageous in structures affected by the presence of aggressive soluble salts (sulphates, nitrates, phosphates).
Connections on walls, concrete, arches and vaults: Make sure that the substrate is completely free of loose and flaking parts. Cleaning and saturation of the substrate by pressure washing. Remove any saline efflorescence by brushing or sandblasting.
Proceed to make holes in the support of suitable diameter, inclination and depth. Blow the inside of the hole with compressed air and, subsequently, vacuum with an effective vacuum cleaner to free the hole from debris and dust. To grout the connector with resins (SYNTECH PROFIX or SYNTECH FIX EP) act on a dry substrate, completely filling the hole with resin, inserting the cartridge spout deeply or using conveying tubes of suitable diameter. For grouting with mortar or slurry (GROUT CABLE, SANAFLUENS, GROUT 2, REPAR TIX SPEEDY HP) act on a damp substrate by pre-washing with water; wait a few minutes, fill the hole with mortar or grout, then insert the connector.
